MEET THE FOUNDER & believer in hope

Hi, I'm Sharon

hawk on tree in northeast new york

Welcome to Hope Abounds Collective! This is a space dear to my heart. Cultivated from my healing journey from over 13 years ago, the goal is to share encouragement, resources, and hope with others.

Whether you are facing a health challenge yourself or walking alongside someone who is, this course is designed to provide hope, guidance, and reassurance that you do not have to navigate the journey alone.

God provided a beautiful space for me to walk on hard and healing days. On paths mowed through the woods by my husband. For years.

Most of the nature scenery photos on this site were taken by me on those kind walks where God listened to my hopes and hurts and shared some of his heart with me through the grace, power, and lovely creation on the path. I hope you find such places to enjoy on your own journey.

Believer in the Hope found in Jesus Christ

NED since 2013

Medicine helped in crisis twice. Nutrition is what gave me hope for healing the second time.

2017: Essential oils became a beautiful addition to my wellness toolkit.

2024: Patented peptide support patches joined my wellness toolkit and have been a phenomenal, life-changing addition.

Welcome, I’m Really Glad You're Here!

This is a survivorship encouragement and guided journaling space.

A kind but important distinction - this space is:

not medical treatment

not therapy

not counseling

not clinical coaching

not healthcare advice

It does intentionally share out of my:

lived experience,

emotional insight,

faith,

reflection,

and compassionate understanding.

Fun Facts About Me

this is a challenge for an introvert

I have played piano since I was about 4 years old. My first teacher was my older sister, Verna. You should follow her crafting page www.stampinnotes.com and on Instagram at @meadowviewstamper (she's an amazing paper crafter; check out the upcoming Creative Connections Zoom Craft & Chat Gatherings we are hosting together - Click Here).

I gave up baton twirling at the ripe age of seven to play marching band drums like my older brother. He taught me a drum solo for nationals that won first place way back in 1977.

I grew up loving horseback riding and spent hours in the hills riding my buckskin buddy, Treeson. He belonged to my uncle but he was a gift to my heart.

My professional background: Administrative support, marketing, and development in private Christian higher education, sixteen years; medical office management, twelve years; church administrative support, three years; stem cell patch franchise owner; essential oils enthusiast; and cancer survivor impacted by the need for humanity, kindness, and real help for those walking through the trauma of diagnosis, treatment, and the "on-your-own" mindset of our current medical system.

While I'm grateful for medicine in a crisis, I'll be forever thankful for knowledge shared with me when I needed it about nutrition and its power to impact healing after the crisis calms. Even for people who went through chemo and radiation twice and multiple surgeries. Like me.
